The BIG Art Show

Four Eights an Artists Challenge IV

This exhibit will showcase pieces created during the Four Eights an Artists Challenge IV, which tasked participating artists with creating original artwork around a singular theme, on four, eight inch square canvases. Artists will be using a wide variety of media. The show will feature some returning artists that participated in the challenge last year, and some new artists.

Explore the world of paint through brushed pigment, suspended in water. This exhibit showcases two local artists, Anji Grainger and Lieta Gratteri. Although varied in style and subject, their work is connected and derived through their element: water. Come discover the movement of water and how textures and patterns react on paper.
