Connected Threads 2017: Celebrating the Fiber Arts Gallery Opening Reception

In Makers 5 second year of presenting a Fibers Arts Exhibition at the Sherwood Center for the Arts, they wish to celebrate the uniqueness of using fibers to create art.  The connection of threads together is a long-lived art form.  In the modern day, we have the materials to create unique, one of a kind fiber artworks that, can take on many different forms.   They have challenged artists  to create a unique artwork using fibers such as cloth, wool and threads that can be hung on the wall.
