Roxanne Blackwood | Painting & Drawing Instructor

Roxanne Blackwood is a visual artist residing in Sherwood with her husband, two daughters and menagerie of pets. She has been creating and exhibiting art for the past 18 years. She was born and raised in the Central Valley of California and spent over a decade in the Silicon Valley before moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2010. She works with oils, acrylics, and water media on canvas & paper with an emphasis on expressive color & brushwork. She works in a style of realism that is impressionistic and direct. She currently teaches at the Sherwood Center for the Arts and will be offering the following art camps this summer as part of the Sherwood Center for the Arts Art Smart Summer Camps: 

Art Lab 
Ages 6-13 years old - Mon-Fri 7/15-7/19 - 9:30 am - 12:30 pm 

Fairies, Mythical Creatures & Monsters, Oh my! 
Ages 6-13 years old - Mon-Fri 8/12-8/16 - 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
