Art 2018 Student Show Reception

Come enjoy the next exhibit at the Sherwood Center for the Arts! A reception for the ART 2018 Student Show will occur on Thursday, March 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., and is free and open to the public. Meet the artists, curators and other art lovers, enjoy light refreshments and live acoustic music in the lobby. The Center for the Arts is proud to host the Third Annual Sherwood Student Art Show. This month-long exhibit features the talents of Sherwood’s many youth art students. Students of art in Sherwood’s Charter school and private studios will have their artwork on the walls of the Center for the Arts for their friends and neighbors to view and appreciate. This is sure to be a fantastic evening with a great opportunity to enjoy some wonderful artwork! The student show will run from March 8th thru April 19th.

For the ART 2018 Student Show, the curatorial team from Makers 5 Artists Collaborative invited Sherwood’s public Schools as well as local Instructors to share their students work with the Sherwood community. Makers 5 is a group of artists in Oregon with a mission to locate and provide venues that enable artists to share their works with the public.
