Auksuole Jackunaite

Auksuole Jackunaite is a pianist, teacher, and music educator located in Portland, Oregon. She holds a Master’s degree in Music Educology from Lithuania and has over 20 years experience teaching piano in her native Lithuania and the U.S. She is a longtime coach for the International creativity program Odyssey of the Mind, and has brought her teams to compete at multiple OotM European Festivals and World Finals – the largest creative problem-solving competitions in the world.

Her passion for music, creativity, and innovative teaching led her to establish an online piano studio, Golden Fox Piano, that reaches students globally. She is also the founder and curriculum developer of the creativity program Piano Doodles, specifically designed for young students.

Auksuole is a Portland Piano International Tholen Fellow (2022-2024), and Past President (2022-2024) for the Tualatin Valley OMTA chapter of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). She is fluent in three languages, and mom of two bilingual children, who often join her in recitals playing violin, fiddle, and cello.
