Becca Makes Art

Hello! My name is Rebecca Parker and I am from the Portland, Oregon area. I’ve always been creative, in every aspect of my life, since I was young. I feel a deep desire to create often- it’s like an urge to make something, a need to express my creativity. I love learning new techniques and enjoy the process of making new things.

I’ve had a love for art for as long as I can remember, so after high school I decided to pursue my passion in college. I graduated with an Associates degree in Fine Arts. However, my career took me in a different direction and I went on to finish my Bachelor’s degree with a different major… Life and family happened and I didn’t make the time to make art.

So, after years and years of putting off my biggest passion of making art, I am finally making the time for it and getting back to doing something that I really love... and it’s feels so good. I am so grateful for having my husband, family, and friends to support and encourage me along the way.
