JUNE DRAWING/PAINTING CAMPS

Painting: H20! | 6 - 13 years
Make a splash while painting! Enjoy creating scenes featuring various water-inspired sources. Travel from the bird's-eye view of the Columbia River Gorge to a lake above and below the water, showcasing a Steelhead Trout; then venture to the deep blue ocean waters following the journey of an orca! We end our travels on a tropical beach at sunset, and hike to a jungle waterfall. The journeys our brushes take will be a trip of a lifetime!

JULY DRAWING/PAINTING CAMPS

Creative Kids – Mix it up! | 6 - 13 years
Explore the wonderful world of art using various mediums, including collage, watercolor, acrylics, pen, marker, tissue paper, pastels and more! Students will have fun discovering new and creative ways to make art applying new techniques and using new tools. Some projects include paper weaving, watercolor resist art, colorful collages and printmaking.

Painting: The Flora & Fauna of the Wild West! | 8 - 14 years
Let’s travel to the Wild West, and explore the nature of it all! We will paint a coyote and jackrabbit pair, learn the beauty of painting a cactus, run with the inspiration of wild horses, create a stormy monsoon desert-scape, and kick off our dusty ol’ cowboy boots adorned with roses.

ALL THE ART! | 6 - 13 years 
Explore all things ART! The perfect fit for the young artist who wants to try a little bit of everything; painting, acting, clay, drawing and artistic dessert-making. Throughout the week, campers will dive into a new art medium, exploring new ways to express their own creativity - all while having fun! Each session is led by a different arts specialist in their area of expertise.

AUGUST DRAWING/PAINTING CAMPS

Creative Reuse! | 6 - 13 years
Join us for a creative take on reuse and re-purposed arts. Students will create shadow boxes, journals, stuffies, found art paintings, and collage, as well as shadow puppets; and learn how to create stories and skits using unknown and found objects.

Painting: Earth’s Art | 6 - 13 years
Take an art-filled trip around the globe! Join us as we master the ink art of Japan – creating cherry blossoms; decorate mirrors in the style of Mexican folk art, and make friends with Indian elephants as we adorn them with beauty. We will then skip on over to Australia and learn Aboriginal dot painting, and cross the ocean to paint an African savanna silhouette.

Arts Journaling | 8 - 14 years 
A mixed media class where students will explore journal and art prompts, while practicing skills and techniques that help us dive deeper into our own unique ability to create.
