FINE ARTS

Santa’s Workshop | 7 - 13 years
This anticipated workshop has become a beloved Sherwood tradition. Kids create unique, personalized gifts for loved ones, giving adults time to finish up holiday shopping! After crafting presents, kids wrap them, make cards and end the evening with some holiday treats. Register for one or BOTH sessions. Students make two different gifts each night. Act fast, as spots are limited!

Woven Paper Stars                            
The weaving is straightforward, and the results are dazzling. These traditional Scandinavian stars are formed using sturdy paper strips. Make one of these beauties for the holidays. Take it home and use it as a tree topper or decorative hanging.

Vine Gogh: Winter Gnome
Add some whimsy to your winter with this charming step-by-step acrylic painting of a gnome wandering through the snow, lantern glowing warmly in hand. Perfect for all skill levels—no experience needed! You’ll paint on an 11" x 14" canvas. All supplies included, even an apron. Food and drinks available for purchase from Cooper Mountain Brewing.

Vine Gogh: Peace on Earth
Get into the holiday spirit with this fun, step-by-step acrylic painting of a snowman bundled in a cozy scarf, standing beside a tiny Christmas tree with snowflakes falling all around. No experience needed—you’ll create your own winter wonderland on an 11" x 14" canvas. All supplies included, including an apron. Food and drinks available for purchase from Cooper Mountain Brewing.

Mini-Holiday Canvas Ornament Workshops | Ages 8+
Celebrate this season with a joyful, hands-on ornament painting class led by local artist Darla Boljat of D.K. Boljat. In this festive one-and-a-half-hour workshop, students will paint their own acrylic original painting featuring a peaceful Mount Hood in the snow, or a family friendly design of their own. Students follow Darla step-by-step guided by her encouraging instruction. All materials are provided for this class with the $5.00 supply fee (cash), and students who participate will leave with a finished ornament perfect for giving as a heartfelt gift or treasuring as a keepsake to hang on the Christmas tree or on a wall for years to come. No prior painting experience is necessary—just a willingness to try acrylic painting, and have fun! Students will also receive a storage bag for each ornament to preserve their work.
Additional ornaments are 4.00 each (cash). Come dressed to paint! Aprons are optional but recommended.

CLAY & CERAMICS

2 weeks | 5+ years & ONE Adult/Guardian
Family Clay Night: Holiday Ornaments or Luminary Tree
Celebrate the holidays by crafting your own custom ornaments or luminary tree. Design your piece the first night and add color with glaze the second night. Notification to pick up glazed ceramics will be emailed 2-3 weeks after the last class.
