History in the Making Gallery

For the History in the Making exhibit, the curatorial team from Makers 5 Artists Collaborative opened a “call to artists” encouraging visual artists in the region to visually interpret the time period that launched the City of Sherwood. Their inspiration was a collection of historic photographs of Old Town Sherwood during 1880 – 1920, provided by the Sherwood Historical Society and the Oregon Historical Society. This very special exhibit is a way to honor the city’s rich heritage and unique character.

Makers 5 is a group of Artists in Oregon with a mission to locate and provide venues that enable artists to share their works with the public. The group is open to collaborate with other Artists groups in the Oregon and Washington area. If you are interested in participating in a future show by the Makers 5, please visit www.makers5.com
