Little Players
6 weeks | 5 - 8 years
A 6 week program designed to increase confidence while creating characters and imaginary worlds both independently and in small groups. With a mix of drama games and guided improvisation, participants will learn new skills while, most importantly, having fun!

Improv
6 weeks | 8 - 12 years
This 6 week program continues to develop those think on your feet skills that every performer needs to have in their back pocket. Through classic drama games, character creation, costumes, props, and crafting scenes stemming from a character’s seemingly random line, participants will love learning that as long as they believe it, so will the audience. Come with an open mind and a sense of humor!

Scene Study 101
6 weeks | 12 - 16 years
Come learn how to approach a scene or monologue, understanding the basics of not just performing the piece but understanding the choices you need to make along the way. Finish the program with a polished piece to share with an invited audience. Students would need to be comfortable reading a script.

NWCT: Create Your Own Play!
9 weeks | 8 - 12 years
Watch your imagination come to life with Northwest Children’s Theater’s Create-Your-Own Play class! Explore the wonderful world of dramatic arts through theater games, character creation, and imaginative world-building. Then, transform the stories you create into a theatrical presentation while developing your acting and performance skills! Students may be asked to bring costume and prop items from home.
